BREAKING NEWS: John Potter Will Not Be on This Week's Midweek Motorsport Radio Broadcast

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (August 28, 2013)- Knowing that Magnus Racing is mentioned in virtually every episode of the world-renowned Midweek Motorsport podcast, Magnus Racing's John Potter wanted to make sure the motorsport community knew that he will not be mentioned in this week's episode.

“As most people know, we are very committed to an honest and forthcoming dialogue with our fans,” stated Potter. ”We fully realize that the only reason anyone would ever listen to Midweek Motorsport is for the Magnus Racing references, and there simply won't be any this week. We know our fans will be disappointed, but apparently they'd rather talk about relevant racing events from this past weekend than my constant blog about the squirrels in my backyard. Clearly they don't know their public. It's very strange, I'm told both I and (show host) John Hindhaugh have faces for radio, so you'd think I'd be on all the time. ”

Midweek Motorsport, a weekly podcast produced by the famed Radio Le Mans team, is one of the most world-renowned forums for international motorsport. Discussing motorsport categories including Formula 1, sportscar, NASCAR, World Rally, and even debating with Marshall Pruett on whether or not IndyCar is relevant, the show takes a light-hearted, irreverent, and informative approach to the sport as a whole.

Most notably, of course, is the fact that the group often discusses Magnus Racing. Obviously, this is due to Magnus Racing's notoriety as the single-greatest sportscar team in the history of sportscar racing (relevant to GRAND-AM Porsche teams from 2010-2013). Apparently, however, they won't be mentioning our team this week.

If you still care about the racing world beyond Magnus Racing, which we don't understand, click here for today's broadcast, which starts now (3PM ET).

To hear a recorded broadcast from John Potter's interview with Midweek Motorsport's John Hindhaugh last week, click here. It's a very impressive interview, in which both socially awkward gentlemen made eye contact at least twice.
