January 26, 2010 (Salt Lake City, Utah) – With the largest race on the GRAND-AM schedule in just a few days time – the Rolex 24 at Daytona – Magnus Racing is proud to unveil their long awaited new website at www.magnusracing.com.
The new website will be updated constantly with news, photos, videos, and more than a few behind-the-scenes looks at the cast and characters of Magnus Racing, including drivers John Potter and Craig Stanton, as well as the crew that puts the No.44 Porsche GT3 Cup on the track for each GRAND-AM race weekend.
For the Rolex 24 at Daytona, the website will also have the addition of a live blog, allowing friends, family, and fans that aren’t in Daytona to interact with the team and its drivers as they compete in North America’s most important sportscar race. Viewers at home can submit questions that will be heard and answered throughout the 24 hour race, and can expect to see driver interviews, as well as updated photos and videos almost hourly on the website. As an added bonus for the Rolex 24 at Daytona, fans following the action at www.magnus-racing.com will also be able to interact with the team’s guest drivers, Jeroen Bleekemolen and Richard Lietz.
“Part of bringing back the fun to sportscar racing is to share our experiences with our friends and family that can’t join us at the Rolex 24 at Daytona,” said John Potter, team owner of Magnus Racing. “We are giving everyone a way to feel like they are a part of the team and a part of the action, by giving them access to a GRAND-AM team that they can’t get unless they were wearing green and were part of the Magnus Racing crew.”
Magnus Racing will take the green flag for this weekend’s Rolex 24 at Daytona with drivers John Potter, Craig Stanton, Jeroen Bleekemolen and Richard Lietz. A first-year team, Magnus Racing has already established itself as one of the leading Porsche GT teams and a contender for victory.
